Yes, CBD oil derived from legally cultivated or imported hemp is legal in all 50 states. It is a product of hemp and not marijuana and is non-psychoactive (it will not get you high). The hemp extract that we sell is completely legal in the USA and allows people to make a positive choice for healthier alternatives for pain relief and more.

Our CBD topicals and CBD tinctures are actually infused with broad spectrum CBD oil, and not a CBD isolate. This means there are trace amounts of other beneficial cannabinoids such as CBN, CBG, etc in the formula that will encourage more benefits than one could get with an isolate infused product.

We refer to our product as “broad-spectrum” because we ensure that there is 0% THC in our products.

All of our hemp is grown in the sunny state of Colorado. We use supercritical CO2 extraction. CO2 extraction is cleaner and safer than using solvents like butane and propane.

Our water-soluble CBD makes a huge difference for a few reasons. Many of our competitors use a CBD extract in an oil form for their tinctures which typically doesn’t provide the most efficient results. This can often lead to an unpleasant taste and a poor absorption rate when the CBD is trying to get into the body’s receptors. Since humans are made up of approximately 60% water & have a blood-brain barrier, a water-soluble compound is able permeate the blood-brain barrier much more efficiently and increase absorption rates to ultimately get the best results possible.

Health and Wellness Botanicals specializes in THC free products. We have never had a customer claim they have failed a urine analysis. There are different ways that companies test for drugs. Some drug tests are specific for THC and some are broader and test for all cannabinoids. It is best to check with your workplace prior to starting a product with cannabinoids, just to be safe.

The amount of CBD oil that people take on a daily basis can vary greatly. 1 to 2 drops per 10 pounds of body weight is our suggestion. For an average size adult, one dropper full per day is sufficient. It must be mentioned that everyone should find what works best for them and some people with serious needs are taking 5 to 10 times the suggested dosage to achieve the results they are desiring. People that are very sensitive may use less than the suggested dosage. CBD oil can be ingested at any time on an empty or full stomach.

For best results, start small and work your way up to what feels right. For example, with our tinctures a great way to start would be to only take a 1/4 of the dropper morning and night and see how you feel from there. Then, if needed, increase by 1/4 dropper every 3-5 days until you find the correct dose for you!
